Zebra Katz Feat. Njena Reddd Foxxx, Gangsta Boo & Tricky: “Ima Read” (Remix)

I know this is the millionth remix of this track to drop in the last few weeks, but this version comes courtesy of Bristolian trip-hop legend, Tricky, and the former first lady of Three 6 Mafia, Gangsta Boo. Weird pairing right?

This take is pretty dark and low-soundng, like the aural equivalent of murder or being followed home, throwing a whole new layer of sinister on top of Katz and Foxxx’s bitchy original. But at least Tricky has redeemed himself from his car crash performance at Glastonbury festival with Beyonce, which more people would have seen than heard this. So, actually, I guess not really :(
