This TNGHT EP from Hudson Mohawke and Lunice, has been the Olympics of the dance scene. Every DJ/blog/artist everywhere was telling you it was coming, and while you braced yourself for the crushing disappointment of it not living up to its hype, it’s actually been pretty awesome.
This is their latest visual offering to accompany “Bugg’n”, which ticks most things on the pounding bad trip checklist. Like, Elmo? Check. Small girl inexplicably pouring gloopy paint? Check. Goldfish? Yep. It’s not quite as good as the Linday-Lohan-through-the-crack-years montage they’ve been projecting at their live show, but I guess you can’t have it all.
