British house innovator and member of the Hot Creations inner circle, Richy Ahmed, takes Katy B’s single “Still” for a dancefloor whirl. Cutting just about all the lyrics aside from the emotional strain of her chorus, Ahmed replaces the words with a techno beat, fluttering zippy-zaps and a grooving bass line, transforming a formerly melancholy breakup song into a dancefloor unifier. Who cares if you’ve just gone through a breakup? This is about dancefloor vibes and new connections.
