Four Tet (aka Kieran Hebden) took over for Benji B this week on BBC Radio 1, and took the opportunity to play a ton of unreleased music by a wide variety of producers, including himself. The eclectic producer dropped exclusive material from Joy Orbison, Madlib, Lil Silva, Pearson Sound, Champion, and many others during the three-hour show.
Hebden also played “Rings in the Coffee”, by Madlib and Future Islands’ Sam Herring’s collaborative project Trouble Know Me. Later in the broadcast, Joy Orbison, Champion, and Pearson Sound all swung by the studio to play their own guest mixes.
