The latest entry in the Dragon Quest series, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of An Elusive Age, is about to be released in Japan, but there hadn’t been any word on whether it’s leaving there. On the eve of the game’s launch, Square Enix announced it’s being translated for the West, and it’ll arrive in 2018.
In Japan, it’s launching on both PlayStation 4 and 3DS, with a Switch version coming eventually. It’s unclear if Dragon Quest XI will launch on all three platforms when it’s brought over here.

I’ve never played a Dragon Quest game, but like most things these days, I’d sure be willing to give a Switch version a shot.
