Artifact Warms Up What’s Left of the Weekend in “Who Knew Her”

Artifact is the Bristol-based producer and DJ whose music has long been praised by BBC Radio 1’s reputable clan – B Traits, Mista Jam, Rob Da Bank, and Mary Anne Hobbs.

His new EP Who Knew Her consists of two new original tracks and a bonus remix by the OFF Recordings artist Dale Howard. The title track “Who Knew Her” kicks off the release with a resilient bass line led by a curling vocal cut. The track’s grooving, slightly disco quality is layered within a contemporary synth composition, producing a sultry five minutes of old and new.
