Gold Panda – “Trust”

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from UK beat maestro Gold Panda, but he’s back with hyped-up stellar production on the wonderful new cut, “Trust.” From the sounds of the track, he’s been digging on some Flying Lotus lately, as the slithering piece of mellow, yet slightly deep house bobbles up and down through some choppy production (with a few signature cow bells thrown in).

The track premiered on the Mary Anne Hobbs XFM show last night. However, don’t expect a release date for the EP anytime soon. The dude just tweeted, “Not going to tweet about new stuff anymore since it won’t be out until 2015 and I’m on tour for the next 400 years.”

Aww, shucks. Just like the girl I fancied in art class, Gold Panda is playing the hard to get card.
